Location and distance from your house or work / office hours: choose an office that’s
going to be close to your work area or home. We notice that patient are to be more
compliant with going to their appointments when its convenient and near by. Also make
sure they are open the days and times that you will most likely be going.
What to look for in a dentist: take your time choosing and never wait for an emergency
case to happen. The #1 thing I usually look for that I recommend to most people is
getting that initial personal comfort when meeting the staff and dentist. Lets be honest not
many people like going to the dentist so it makes it soooo much more easier and even
enjoyable to like your dentist and their staff.
Cost: always ask if they accept your insurance or not. (Don’t ever assume). Ask if they
accept different types of payment methods. Costs may vary with each dental office. You
can always get an estimate of what your dentist might charge for dental work if you do
and don’t have insurance. Keep in mind the quality of work done as well is different at
each office so don’t always go super cheap.
Search then online and read about their office and what they have to offer. I also like to
yelp everywhere however I don’t rely on them 100% but you get an idea based other
peoples reviews.
